Avenging Cleveland

The Pop Shop Gallery in Lakewood is celebrating the soon-to-be

filmed Avengers movie with a brand new exhibit. Titled 'Avenging Cleveland,' the exhibit combines artwork from 25 local artists who pay homage to Marvel Comics superheroes.

Iconic characters such as Iron Man, Captain America and The Avengers will all be represented in the exhibit. Carol and John's Comic Book Shop, a Cleveland based comic retailer, has donated a variety of comic book paraphernalia to also be on display during the show.

The opening reception is tonight from 6-9 p.m. at the Pop Shop Gallery. The exhibit will remain on display until Aug. 6.
