This concert pick is a biased one, since Locksley happens to be a favorite band of mine, but hey they're an awesome band. I don't mind, so neither should you.
Hailing from Wisconsin, this four-piece band brings an indie, British-Invasion vibe to their music. Influenced by '60s rock 'n roll instrumentation, doo-wap vocals and punk rock tempos, Locksley creates songs with an eclectic and contagious sound.
The band will grace the stage of the Beachland Ballroom on Waterloo Road this Thursday evening. Other acts on the bill include Alpha Rev and Tom Evanchuck & The Old Money.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $12.
