Winter Wine Tasting at Sushi Rock

What better way to spend a cold, wintry Weekday in January than sampling fine wine and exquisite cuisine?

Sushi Rock in Beachwood is hosting a Winter Wine Dinner this Wednesday, Jan. 30. Five delectable courses will be served to diners and each course will be paired with a wine to complement the meal. For those averse to sushi -- don't worry! Raw fish is not on the menu. All five courses can be enjoyed for just $35 per person.

The menu for the evening is as follows:

Irony, Chardonnay, California paired with mixed field greens with dried cranberries, raisins and roasted almonds drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette

The Whip, blend (Sauvignon Blanc/Semillion/Viognier), California paired with a lobster bisque

Sokol Blosser, Pinot Noir, Oregon paired with grilled lamb chops and a lemon truffle oil

Tamas, blend (Cabernet/Petite Sirah/Barbera), California paired with a tenderloin medallion and a sake soy reduction

Capasaldo, Prosecco, Italy paired with "loukoumades" (fried dough puffs) topped with walnuts and local honey

Space for the evening is limited, so reservations are recommended. Reservations can be placed by calling 216-378-9595.

Sushi Rock Beachwood is located at 2101 Richmond Road Beachwood, OH 44122.
